art by chance, which aims to surprise people and bring a different color to the cities’ fast-forward lives “by chance”, is open for submission.

art by chance 2010: it’s time to move!
art by chance aims to reach millions in 13 countries and in over 70 cities. the festival will accept 30 sec. films from all over the world and they will be aired in june on 10.000 digital screens in public places.

the concept of art by chance 2010 is “time”. art by chance 2010 has set out to explore how the perception of time is unique to every individual and how time can influence the narrative of city life, one of modern man’s greatest challenges. the producers are expected to handle the concept of “time” in 30 seconds in any form they wish: fiction, documentary, animation or in any form of video-art.

meet art in the subway, shopping mall, street or in the restroom
time-themed films of art by chance 2010 are going to meet their audience in ordinary daily life instead of movie theaters. the festival is drawing attention by breaking the monotone: it will strike you with its rich content during your daily journey by reaching you from the digital screens in all over the city.
